Beginning the 2nd quarter, participating students will occasionally (about every 2 weeks or so) bring home a literacy bag. Each bag contains 3 to 5 of my favorite books along with a toy and game of the same theme. These bags are not intended to be "work" or feel like a chore. Rather, they are designed to be a fun way to enhance academic and fine motor skills and get your child excited about reading.
Bags will be sent home on Tuesdays and will be due back to school the following Monday.
Take-home bags are an optional part of our program, and an interest form must be completed before participation. Interest forms will be sent home in your child's folder at the beginning of the 2nd quarter.
